You should realize that it's alot of different answers and meanings and problems. But if there is an absolute truth then you cannot argue on the matter. Philosophy questions life. And the only logic to that question is to have it good and to have it good you need to do some effort to make that work. Philosophy mean to have love for wisdom. So it is basically about wisdom. Wisdom is how you use knowlege and understand lifes meaning and sense. Wisdom mean to be useful. It means to do what's right to do to have it good. To have wisdom is to have the right direction on a map which when you don't have the direction you are trapped in a maze you cannot solve or get out of. So the more and deeper and higher you go the better you will get it. And easier and smoother and faster and stronger. The highest of wisdom is to know the total truth and meaning to life. And for that you must do right. To be righteous. That bring you into the light life has. And it will not be like being in a trap anymore. You can free your mind from it. And that's what philosophy is to be a free person with meaning to it.
