How much do you guys study a day? How much free time do you have? How do you use your free time? How are your grades in college? (Math and Physics degree only)

Sometimes I ponder, /sci/, if it is truly worth it to study so much when I could spend more hours doing fun stuff. I study 8h a day in order to get 9's and 10's and the pressure is killing me, but I feel like if I don't get only 9's and 10's my academic career will be over before it even started.

>I study 8h a day
I do like maybe 1-2 outside of class and 3-4 extra hours of work for a problem set, wtf are you doing?

My undergrad ended with a 3.9+ GPA.

College in my country and especially in my university is far harder than in other parts of the world, the competition is also strong, I know people who used to study 13h a day just to pass to this university. I'm also not a genius or anything so I have to study more than other if I want to be successful and go one day to MIT or Harvard.

some people have to work harder to achieve the same result. for a supposedly smart person you are pretty dumb not to realize this.

The pressure is too much, I can't handle this shit anymore, sometime I wish I could watch anime, play games and read 4chan all day.

You can always do this as a successful person in his early 30s, like melonpan.
You just need to keep yourself in shape and dont let your health rot away.

Well, he said his uni is harder than most unis in math, plus fierce competition so I my bet is France. O Brazil if he's studying in IMPA.

I can't imagine living like that to be honest. How do you even have the energy to study 8 hours in a row? I do my best work after a short break where I have time to think things over again.

Shit, I take that back, I don't think IMPA has undergrad courses. So my bet is France.

Some people are powered by fear.

I got a lot of As. In English 1102 and Antropology 1101 I definitely earned As but the female professors fucked me with their PMS.

I'm not OP, nor do I need to study 8 hours a day. I was just mocking your retarded humblebrag.

Dropped out of uni. Been studying on my own time with the /sci/ guide and books from my local library. No pressure just having fun learning math and science. Gonna go back when i can just breeze through and get my paper airplane material.
