Since this relevant for the scientificity of most branches of psychology:

Does the Libet experiment disprove the cognitive/mental control of actions/behaviors?

Why?/Why not?

Are there any examples of actions being caused by cognitions? (= a mere cooccurence due to an unspecified common cause can be ruled out)

The "We notice it, therefore it has consequences" stance is actually something to think about.

Both naive cognitivism and epiphenomenalism appear to be wrong.

So: To what extent do thoughts control human behavior?
