From what I remember of the story, his platoon was sitting around a campfire where ever they were stationed when a little girl walked up to the circle (across from where my professor was, about 25 feet away) and just exploded. He said it killed most of the men around her but he got off with relatively minor injuries. I think he said she had a grenade, which lines up with other stories I've read about the Viet Cong's use of children. When a similar thing happened again some time later my professor supposedly shot the kid.
The worst part about his story was that he told it as if it were a hypothetical or could have happened to someone else, but the look on his face and the tone of his voice made it pretty obvious he was talking about his own experience. I still get chills whenever I think about that guy. What a fucked up thing to live with.

Female is not the part that causes the problem, it's African profs you need to avoid.
In math/physics female profs are generally about average. White women have the potential to be cunts if their ego is an issue but that happens with men too, and most female profs I've had were very nice and generally more interested in actively helping students than the men were.
Asian women either lecture by reading verbatim from the textbook or sound like they snorted a gigantic line of cocaine 10 minutes before the lecture and jump around squawking Engrish word salad for an hour and a half.

African students are pretty based to hang around with but holy fuck are the profs atrocious. None of them have any fucking idea what they're teaching but still manage to be the most pompous jackass you can imagine, and if you do anything at all that they feel makes them look bad (this includes asking basically any question in class because they can't answer anything) they will hold a permanent passive-aggressive vendetta against you.

I had one that was fun, I had to take some government class for a standard for the state and the professor turned out to be black as shit but surprisingly based.

It was pretty fun because I could write whatever crackpot shit I wanted and as long as I adhered to the total word-count it didn't matter.
