Do different numbers have shapes or "feels" to you?

Well, nothing to do with colors. But I've always felt different numbers have a geometrical feel and shape to them when you think about them, that has to do with divisibilty mostly. Like 2 is nice and conveniently blocky. 1 is like a little pebble. 4 is a bigger block, not as easy. 7 is very angular and difficult. I guess probably everyone who's done algebra in their head a fair amount thinks like that, I was just wondering how strong it is in others.

>> No.10055407

>>10055347
I agree with those.
3 is kinda fuzzy, just thinking about it makes me feel ticklish. 9 is like a fuzzball with fuzzballs on it.
5 is really smooth, like a bowling ball covered with butter. 6 is like a bitchy number. I feel like it doesn't really like me, or anyone for that matter.
8 is brown, has a low voice and likes whiskey. If we're talking objects, then 8 is like a huge block of dried mud.

I don't feel anything like that... synesthesia doesn't just refer to colors, you know.

0 is emptiness, numbness.
1 is unity, the whole, pure. C Major.
2 is polarity. Extreme, yet basic, reasonable, and universal at the same time.
3 is transcendental. Elegant without flaunting. Self evident, as opposed to derived.
4 is bold. At the surface, looks like nothing but a poor man's 2. But carries a certain swagger that no other number does.
5 is chaotic. Irrational. Infinite.
6 is fundamental. The structure, the building block.
7 is, I like what the other guy said, sexy. Not very useful at the end of the day, but somehow still the envy of all other numbers.
8 is proud. Has overachieved, and looks down on those that haven't.
9 is humorous. Loopy and never quite serious, but it's lies carry enough truth to let you know it is not to be reckoned with.

>> No.10056123

0 is wrong, unholy, the base of all truth and all falsehoods
1 is evil, absolute, and elegant above all other numbers, it hates you.
2 is simple and blue, but of all tricks and gimmicks from which this number laughs.
3 is a bastardization of 2, the only prime to feel wrong, to be of a space less than 1, but without the elegance of 2, the founder of complex number awnsers, simply spiteful.
4 is fearless, but weak, feeble and bounded by its more meaningful brother 2, but the result of all operations of 2 to 2 within the basic plane of operations. It is the end of logic and it misses you dearly.
5 is crusty, rugged, and brown with dirt. It lies in the relm of our mind more than the relm of meaningful calculation
6 is symetrical, pure, and beyond sin, it will never let others pressure it and loves its sons 2 and 3 more than anything else.
7 is complex, deceitful, but honest, imperfect, but logical, it does not hate but rather it exists to hate. It is orange.
8 is nothing, it will never be somthing, it is meaningless. A black, pointless number of no meaning.
9 is the foundation of none. But despised by none. It is clear. Forgettable. Unoffensive. It is the greece of numbers.
e is the smoothest of all numbers. You move it and it squishes and trails itself in a perfect manner.
Pi is the most real of numbers, existing in both the physical and the numerical. A number like no other.
i is like christ, hated for his ideas, but a revolutionary that changed everything within the world. Needed, hated, accepted, and truthful.

I like even numbers. Odd numbers somehow feel pointy and jagged. It's like if you're crossing a busy road the odd numbers are the crosswalk you need to be alert in and the even numbers are the sidewalk on either side. I've felt like this since even before learning the concept of even and odd numbers.

i have synesthesia so yes, numbers have a feel and color to them and so do letters, days of the week too. every time i hear speech i see the speech "floating" in front of me. even other miscellaneous sounds take on a "shape" in my vision.

>I like even numbers. Odd numbers somehow feel pointy and jagged.

It's like that to me too. Though Ifeel like 5 is unique in it that is likable despite it not have a discernible easy shape to it. It's easy to move around. 6 is the opposite of that, it feels easy but it is deceptively difficult, it makes sense it has a special place in religions and numerology. 7 is just unique, it's always difficult and pointy no matter what. 8 is kind of like 6 but you can think about it as just 10-2, the difficultness of it isn't as abrasive. 9 is definitely always just 10-1 to me, it's barely a number of its own. It's kind of like the anti-pebble to the pebble that is 1.

Yes. 6 always seemed like a friendly, relatable friend who's a bit overweight. While 7 is kind of an elitist. Had this feel since I could understand math.

>5 is serious and rich and grey and yellow like a synthetic fabric.
>6 is nobility, like a thick and heavy red velvet curtain
>4 is like the suits of clubs, the windows on a sedan or powdered charcoal
>3 is the best digit even though it is like a rat. It is definitely like illicit things and appears red but in a drab way unlike 6
>7 is yellow unless you forget to draw the bar, then it's lime. And math stops making sense when there's no bars.
>9 is like half a 6 in the way it feels
The best number is 12. It's got all the best things out of 3,6 and 5.

Exactly what this documentary is about.
https://youtu.be/PPySn3slfXI

Give the guy a math problem like 37^6 and he just starts seeing shapes and textures and colors in his brain. Each one is a digit of the answer and he can just read it off.

The probable cause is that a seizure created a connection between the part of his brain that recognizes shapes/textures/colors and the part of the brain that does math.

Kind of. My own body did it. With chronic pain and endless health problems, first you will dissociate from the body. Then, both in consequence and further, you will dissociate even from your mind itself.

I feel very little, inside or out. At first this creates hyperfixation that shifts around here and there, then it makes you real slow, and real stupid. And it seems you stay that way.

Used to, made me very sick. At this point I only eat turkey or eggs occasionally. Sometimes sardines.

'Bout ready to have it be over. I've considered the existence of some sort of "core health", which when compromised either triggers self feeding decay, or is near impossible to reverse. It must be viewed as distributed even in the case of centralized components. I may improve in various ways, but this remains. I've lost things you probably cannot get back.

Take care of your health. Take it seriously. Trust nothing.
