Any beginner tier books to start electrical engineering or just electricity?

Dover books are great primers and are fairly quick reads. There aren't many example problems and the ones that are there can be a bit hard. I smashed pic related my first semester and it helped a lot when it came time to actually take the class.

that pic hit too close to home. anyway, before you learn shit about EE, you need the mathematical groundwork to really handle it. learn calc through differential equations (laplace transform is the key lesson there), some linear algebra (just how to solve systems of linear equations), and basic complex arithmetic. only then will you really understand EE

thank you. though i must warn you, there is no prize for learning EE. its a mature study and a dying art form, not a whole lot of 'new' left to find here. unless you are truly dedicated, i would advise you take up a more lucrative interest
