Why are so many intelligent young men who work in STEM becoming transgender? What's the scientific explanation for this?

>> No.10030706

>>10030696
I was not aware that the percentage of transgender men in STEM was higher than other demographics
please provide a citation for this claim

I don't think there are any studies on this phenomenon, but anyone who's worked in the industry knows it's a real thing.

Transgender people have noticed it themselves: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=135589.0

https://www.reddit.com/r/transprogrammer/comments/2g0pk9/the_big_list_of_famous_trans_programmers/

Trans people are maybe 0.05% of the population. How is it possible that there are so many prominent trans programmers?

>> No.10030740

>>10030731
There are over 7000000000 people, so 0.05% turns out to be quite a lot of people.

where does that come from, what does it have to do with transgender ?

>> No.10030749

>>10030723
I’ve had this nascent theory that being trans could partially be the result of environmental factors like sedentism.

I've also noticed it with gay guys. Around 30% of us in the Ocean Sciences/Marine Bio institutions in our small town are gay.

Apparently, overloading your body, mind and spirit with an overwhelming quantity of logic is too much for some people and they break.

it's even higher in IT than STEM iirc.

anyway i've always figured that IT/STEM jobs usually have a day-to-day experience of keeping to yourself. you might have to interact with your supervisor or an underling but you can probably do some of that through email and it's not like you're working retail or front desk. that would be a blessing for someone who is strongly dysphoric

Not really.
It's because most beta males are wimpy twinks. Their only hope for a job is going into stem and their only hope for sex is taking cock as trannies.
It's simple really.
This all goes back to the part where all the alpha males go other places and the beta males become tranny scientists

I study in stem in a developed country and I've never seen a tranny at uni. What the hell.
