a notorious dislike of philosophy. Philosophy at one point was asking the questions that naturally arise from trying to relate the frameworks of relativity and QM to real phenomenon. It was philosophy only in its most trivial definition. Today, the actual work being done by philosophers of science is little more than self-serving word drivel; a verbosity contest with a topic. They have nothing of importance left to say on classical topics and nothing but unfounded speculation on the remaining, if they're even attempting to do any work at all. The rest of the time they're just creating work for other philosophers to keep working on.

This is an absurd argument. If men in Hollywood are more likely to commit sexual assault, and jews are more likely to be in Hollywood, jews are still more likely to commit sexual assault. Saying "Jews are over represented in Hollywood so this tells us nothing" is stupid. Jews are over represented in Hollywood for the same reason they were in the diamond industry and slave ship ownership. Jews are overrepresented in shady business consistently. They are under represented in careers like military service, farming, construction, etc. They are more likely to be lawyers, less likely to be policemen. The pattern is clear.
