I have some math homework, /sci/, which I'm starting right now, but I need to get it done fast. If you guys could help me with whichever of the six questions here, while I work at it over here, that'd be nice.

a) f(x)=x^2 + 1
b)f(x)=x^3

2)Using induction, prove that if n is a whole number, 3^n ≥ n.

3)Find the middle value in [a,b] of:

b)f(x)=x^3
c)f(x)=x

4)Show that the volume of a pyramid with a base of b, is equal V=1/3 bh.

5)Find the area between f(x) and g(x), if it exists, for:
a)f(x)=x^2, g(x)=x^3

6)Discuss the movement of a particle with position x(t)=t^3 - 4t^2 +12t -9 within the first 8 seconds of movement.

2)Trick question, n is neither a whole number, nor a partial number. N is a letter.

3)Another trick question, there is no letter (middle value) between a and b.

4)The volume of a pyramid with a base of B must be equal to 1/3bh because that is the formula some dead smart math guy came up with.

5) g(x) - f(x) can be factored into x(g-f)

6)That particle is EVERYWHERE. The guy is a crazy party boy.

if you have them math worked out for six, then you should already understand it. otherwise, i don't really know how you would have known what to do.

a(t) is just the derivative of v(t), which is just the derivative of x(t). position-->velocity-->acceleration.
