I had some classes on data science concepts like decision trees , probability, regression. In high school we had like 4 hours of math :/

at the moment im learning linear algebra from MIT opencourseware :)

MIT course better prepares you to use LA for real-world problems. Axler prepares you for more advanced math courses. So what to choose depends on what you need LA for. Both courses are great, but they are just different. Don't let the same name mislead you.
