If you genuinely believe you'll be happy as an engineer, it's worth it to pony up for student loans than get stuck with a job you hate.

Thing is, I don't care what job I do as long as I get a decent income.
>poorfag
I only did Engineering at A levels cause I thought the name sounded cool when I was in the 9th grade kek.
I want to know if accounting is a decent career path.

Accounting is easier than engineering by a Longshot, and the income is pretty solid as well. It's not engineering tier, but it's about university professor tier.

I know that much lol, did accounting and electrical at GSCE level.
What I'm thinking about doing is
>pursue accounts
>graduate and work for a few years
>when I have a solid income go back and get engineering degree

If you plan on putting money into a retirement at all, due to the way interest accrues, you'll be a lot better off financially 25 years from now if you just pursue the degree you actually want for your lifelong career. Yes you will have to take student loans, but you will also save yourself at least 4 years and potential millions,
