No religious/conspiracy/climate shitstorm pls.

>Lucid Dreaming
It's true, you can control your own dreams. It's not even that hard to do so, nearly everyone can do it with just a little practice. For some people just learning about LD is enough to trigger them. Same goes for OOBE etc. but these are just illusions, you obviously do not exit your body, but you can feel like you do so and it feels a little different than normal or lucid dreaming.

>Tulpa
It's possible to create separate consciousness inside your brain and cooperate with it. Tulpa is not like schizophrenia where you can't tell what is real and live in delusions. Tulpa can understand you better than any other person, it can respect you and support you. it doesn't give you any new senses, but it can give you new insights, have its own tastes, values, creativity etc. There is many people with tulpas inside serious waifu communities, even here on 4chan.
Also that MLP pasta about nightmare tulpa is fake. And some people claim you can't have sex with a tulpa which is false too.

>Near-Death Experience
From peoples' descriptions I can tell this is basically a DMT trip. Going through a tunnel, meeting with supernatural beings, being full of euphoria, all of these are quite common experiences on DMT. People who are not experienced with psychedelics doesn't realize how susceptible they are in state like that, so no wonder why people see religious figures there. If you believe you are dying and believe that you should see Jesus, you'll feel like you meet him, even though it's just half humanoid half geometry mess. The interesting thing is that many people say they have been in the tunnel/waiting room and felt like if you breakthrough the boundary they will never be able to go back. When you trip on DMT it's a sign that your dose was not enough(for full experience) and if you smoked more you'd probably breakthrough and enter the real, full trip in a place that appear to be different dimension.

not to my knowledge. SOMETHING is going on, clearly, or else we wouldnt have such persistent worldwide reports of them. we can come up with a range of explanations from "burning dirt clod" to "wild primordial black hole roaming down from orbit" and one group claimed to have a spectra of ball lightning, but nothing conclusive yet.

What's the word these days on dissociative identity disorder? The impression I always got was that it was either not accepted as real or was real but nowhere near as complete as pop culture makes it out to be.

>Lucid Dreaming
Most people become lucid during REM sleep at some point in their life. I find it difficult to believe anyone could have a problem with this

>Tulpa
Never heard of it. Do elaborate.

As for NDEs and OOBEs, these are widely reported and assumed neurological in origin, so no real problem here either.

tulpas are an old /x/ meme that came from a creepypasta. the idea is that you spend so much brainpower imagining an imaginary friend that eventually it just runs automatically and seemingly has its own consciousness

Tulpa is a separate consciousness inside your mind. You can talk with it, you can interact and see it, but it's not like Dissociative identity disorder. It's not your different state, it doesn't take control of your body and it's not you. It's something you created with your mind that has it's own thoughts, emotions, ideas etc. You can get one from meditation where you keep imagining it, how it looks, how it feels, how it thinks until a point where you basically teach your own brain to do it subconsciously.

It's origins are from tibetan mysticism. Its something that would be done by someone who spent a lifetime on contemplation and meditation.

I don't know about this tulpa shit but you can totally assign different voices in your head to different tasks. Like R Lee Ermy telling you to put down the doughnut vs sponge bob telling you to eat it. I had fun with that shit for a while and with a little practice. You learn what voice it is best to listen to for different situations. Helps in making hard decisions. Try it out.

That everyone experiences the world like I do.

Young Americans thinking Socialism is good.

The rapid decline of debating skills in politics and the use of facts. The fact SCIENTISTS are arguing about science with non factual evidence.

The fact that TV, movies, entertainment are promoting low IQ black/brown people to replace white males/people. And constantly joking about Black men's penis size.

The fact that I can't watch a movie without it having to subtly to do with Feminism.

The fact I can't listen to comedy anymore because people think it's funny to joke about cucking yourself.

The fact that it is harder than ever to find a woman with decent morals who hasn't sucked off 30 guys and has nude photos of herself on the internet.

Fuck it man. Im just going to kill myself

High intensity time-varying magnetic field directed at certain parts of the brain. Though this is real and will produce something similar to ball lightning, I'm not convinced they're the same phenomena, or that it's the basis of ball lightning / what role it plays in it.

My father saw ball lightning when he was a kid. I don't remember how it happened. Maybe it disappeared through a wall, I'm fairly sure it came in through a window. Anyway, the historical accounts, the way he described it, it doesn't quite match up with these modern supposed explanations.

that's the biggest reason i'm skeptical of ball lightning. there's something going on, but i have my doubts it's actually lightning related, or

>separate consciousness inside your head
I wouldn't go so far as to say that. However, it is capable of providing different perspectives from your conscious self. People have been fighting over what a Tulpa really is for as long as they've been around on the interwebs, but the monks who practiced the creation of them saw them as reflections of our subconscious.
