People make conclusions based on their understanding- which vary both in principle and degree.

Degree is simply higher-IQ people examining phenomena at a greater resolution. They'll perceive more
precisely- they'll see more variations of grey.

Principle is the methods employed to examine phenomena. They are as follows:

1. Statistics. Accounting for probability of X instead of Y.
Ex: X is more likely, so I'll prioritize this line of thought WHILE keeping Y in mind.

2. Similar Phenomena. Applying knowledge of one phenomena to a common phenomena.
Ex: Knowing how to treat human dehydration, and applying this to dogs.

3. Abdication of Thought: Accepting the reasoning of an authority figure- could be news channels, family, government.
Ex: Daddy said that BBC was bad.

4. Constant Re-examination of Conclusions.
Ex: Acting as though X=1.4, but always willing- with enough evidence- to consider that X may equal 1.3.

5. Sole Factors. Strong affinity to find single causes where multiple causes exist.
Ex: Mechanical part failed- which must have been caused by the last time it was abused (and not the other 100 times).

6. Degree. How much X will affect Y.
Ex: X has 1/Y affect on Y.

7. Context. How other factors relate.
Ex: X affects Y only when Y < 0. Therefore we only consider X when Y < 0.

8. Culture. Doing X to others increases the likelihood that X will be done to me.
Ex: Helping co-workers increases the chance they'll help you.

9. Time. That people's behavior evolves according to experiences.
Ex: Bob may be kind to Sally now, but shun her after he learns she voted for Trump.

10. Benefit of Work. Comprehending gain from exertion.
Ex: Working longer (than one has to) in order for more money.

11. Seen vs Unseen. Considering the unseen.
Ex: Knowing that phone data is limited, but only curbing use once you have to buy extra.

So you're saying people use heuristics, make a short non-exhaustive, badly organized list of heuristics, and vaguely imply some kind of mental hiearchy. Whats the point?
