If you're just looking to get into pharma and not necessarily r&d, you should look into manufacturing, like on the production floor
I got my start there since I didn't have any industry experience out of college, worked two years actually making the drugs before moving elsewhere
Pay is decent too

How could this happen? I was told constantly that the Arts and Communications majors would be serving coffee. Why did I put in the effort into studying? Why did I learn useless math? One of my HS classmates who never even took Calculus is now a 100K+/yr operations manager at a construction company. I've been job hopping on contracts paying sub 40k. I gave up prom, socializing, even "bad influence" friends to be a good boy. Everyday is a waking nightmare. Literally what the fuck did I do wrong?
