Hey /sci/, could I make it through Navy nuke school if I

1. Never went higher than Algebra II.
2. Didn't pay much attention in math classes.
3. Failed Chemistry because I quit working in the class about three weeks in. I had missed a few days early on, and felt as though I would never catch up. I got my last science credit in Zoology.
4. Am intimidated by math, despite being interested in it?

Seriously, what are my odds? Any tips or Nukes here who could tell me what it was like?

Nothing?

If you scored high enough on the ASVAB and think you can handle the 18 months of hardcore classes, go for it.

I only made an 85.

>> No.996566

try it
science becomes easier to learn when you're older because it's not forced down your throat and you have an interest in learning it

Yes to all 4 points as long as you use the very rigorous (rewriting notes twice among other things) studying regime they assign to you.

Going through the navy and gaining experience on a nuclear reactor is basically guaranteed employment once you're out.

It's like you don't know anything about anything.
