Apparently a ‘glowing ribbon’ (pic related) has been spotted in the sky of the northern hemisphere, and has been called Steve. And while it may look like an aurora, it supposedly isn’t.

Here’s a link to a report about it;

What do you guys think?

My hypothesis on the cause of these lights are the shenanigans of HAARP.

"Steve" only appeared after HAARP went into effect, though correlation does not prove causation. "Steve" was never observed through all of human history until humans started radiating the ionosphere.

Extrapolating the pathway of Steve leads directly to HAARP headquarters in Alaska.
In addition, there is temporal correlation between the creation of HAARP and first observation of Steve. HAARP affects the ionosphere which is where Steve occurs.

Thanks anon!

For the other anons, a TL;DR:
A study published this week in Science Advances, co-authored by Donovan, says research shows Steve travels along a different magnetic field line than regular auroras do, and as a result, is seen farther south.

The study also says the Swarm satellite data on Steve revealed something that's never been seen before: a stream of extremely hot particles called a sub auroral ion drift (SAID). The phenomenon has been studied since the 1970s, but scientists didn't know that it could be observed visually.

As a result of these discoveries, scientists now hope to better understand the interconnectivity of Earth's atmosphere: how the lower and upper parts can influence one another.

And the name Steve will stick. The scientists decided Steve stands for Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement.
