Yes, he was right about everything. He was instinctively aware of the fact that intelligence seems to be modular in some sense. For example, we use different neurological systems for arithmetic, language, and visual processing in part. What Poincaré calls "logic"-leaning mathematicians are those that are precocious in arithmetic to the detriment of visual thinking, with the "intuitionists" being the converse. He also seems to leave the door open for verbally (and otherwise) inclined mathematicians.

Quite astute and observant, this Poincaré fellow.
