There was a whiz kid in my high school who was doing 18 year old level subjects at 13. I played with him in chess club and he won every time.

I was in kindergarten the first year Sesame Street was on the air (1969).
I'd go to school and earn to finger paint while my year younger sister was learning to read. I'd come home and she'd teach me what she'd learned that day.

I don't vividly remember it, but it happened before I realised I wanted to be a smart person myself so it wasn't impactful. Just some smart kid getting awards for being about the smartest kid at maths in the country at his age, namely ~13-18. We got along ok, we participated in a few of the yearly regional quizzes together and we came 1st place in our last year of high school, but he was clearly the one pulling the team. Was fun to put the hosts of the quiz to shame, though.
