Because I was a shithead who didn't pay attention in high school, and now that I care about mathematics, I am in a position where getting to that level is going to take a lot of time and money. Hindsight is 20/20, and I wish I cared back then, because after taking philosophy classes and generals in college, I have realized how fun and valuable mathematics and physics are. I can always be an autodidact, but that certainly limits my opportunities and efficiency at achieving decent contemporary ability. It is what it is, I suppose.

No, I'm planning on taking grad classes (202A intro topology and analysis and/or 250A algebra) starting fall semester of my senior year.
There's a lot of great undergrad classes at Berkeley to keep me occupied my coming junior year (second course in analysis, algebraic topology, upper division ODE/PDE's, second course in abstract algebra...).

Any Berkeley fags have undergrad/grad class recommendations?

Is there any reason why I should or is this just a waste of time? I have some apprehension towards it because I feel like I'd be doing shit that's only good in the realm of mathematics or solving some trivial autistic problem and come out of it without a better understanding of the world.
