1. The time period for the decline was short. This means that effects such as dysgenics are hard to show. Protip not(statistical significance)/=not(effect).

2. 2/3 of the decline was not explained by the tested results. This 2/3 was later magically 'found' in a dubious 'correction'.

3. They had no data on the fertility of females by IQ, but just assumed no dysgenic effect for females. The error bars on male fecundity by IQ were large.

4. The study excluded all people without 2 native born parents. Thus by design excluding dysgenic effects from immigration.

TLDR - a shit study that came to the preconceived conclusion.

Social science research is, 90% of the time, complete and utter garbage.
