Einstein took the work of Lorentz and Poincare and simplified it, removing all the ether baggage, giving us the relativity we know today. Einstein developed the general theory of relativity himself. Lorentz, Poincare and Michelson all believed in the aether: Einstein did away with all that intellectual baggage and created special relativity. Lorentz and Poincare came up with the correct symmetries of the Maxwell equations, but it was Einstein who expanded these symmetries into a result that applied to ANY physical theory outside of the low energy Newtonian limit.
What's more Einstein developed the general theory of relativity, applying these result from mechanics to gravitational physics, creating a much more sophisticated theory that can be described, in simple terms, as "local Lorentz symmetry".
If you actually learnt some physics you'd see that Einstein gets EXACTLY the amount of praise he deserves for his work -- after all, nobody talks about Einstein transformations or the Einstein group, as you'd know if you studied theoretical; physics.

If you want to complain about a physicist getting ignored, look at Ernst Stueckelberg, who invented field-theoretical perturbation theory (and hence) Feynman diagrams, the
(abelian) Higgs mechanism (not that tards like you would know the difference between the abelian and non-abelian cases), rudimentary gauge theory, antiparticles as particles travelling backwards through time, renormalisation and the renormalisation group flow, etc.

Lorentz definitely contributed a large amount to special relativity. And if it weren’t for Michaelson and Morley’s experiments, the aether hypothesis couldn’t have been discarded. But Einstein is the one who put everything together in “On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies”
But he never pretended to take full credit for special relativity and repeatedly acknowledged contributing scientists.

As for general relativity, it was largely Einstein. But he was aware that he couldn’t have done it without the mathematical developments of Ricci, Poincare, Gauss and Riemann. And once again, he repeatedly acknowledged that he wouldn’t have been able to synthesize everything had such tools not existed at the time.

Einstein never tried to take more credit than he deserved. That’s partially why he’s famous, because he had almost no ego and did physics because he enjoyed it. He largely avoided and ignored the media trying to elevate him to celebrity status.

Einstein didn't use citations the way we use them now. He did, however, throughout his papers, refer to "Lorentz's theory" when referring to the Lorentz transformation. He clearly refers to whose people's work he's building on and how he's building on it.
