A proof is only valid after you convince other people.
If you're going to invent your own notation and refuse to explain it to other people, you've proven nothing.

Maybe, someday, it'll be deciphered and understood and no errors will be found. Until then, he just sounds like an "I'm so smart I can't be bothered dealing with you brainlets" asshole.

If he didn't already have a reputation, his tome would have gone straight into the shredder. Given his past work, people are willing to be open minded -- but that's it.

Even Newton (who was the smartest guy in the room even if he was a jerk) took the time to write a book laying it all out, without calculus, so others could follow the reasoning.

When has he ever refused to explain it? He's participated in conferences about his work via Skype and answers emails with very careful explanations
