Further you go up in classes the more those people are weeded out. Undergrad is bad. Even math undergrads know little to nothing on incompleteness theorem, chaos math and the limits of our mathematical systems. All of this gets worse with physics and science majors cause they are even less exposed. Anyone that makes claims about quantum computing and singularity like that clearly has little to no education on the underlying logics of those concepts and how they struggle to be applied in reality just on first principles alone.

The issue is that people with "higher intellect" tend to be fairly lazy due to a good number of things coming easier to them throughout childhood, this quickly gets to their heads, they develop an ego based around "the gifted".

Biology is the quintessential science. We, and all living things are highly sophisticated organic machines, and by studying the organisms who passed through the forge of natural selection, we can create for ourselves seemingly impossible wonders. Imagine if an alien ship crashed into the earth, carrying with it super advanced technology. People would study it and reverse engineer it in the hopes that the technology could be reconstructed and made use of by humanity. This would likely fail, of course, because sophisticated machinery typically requires special tools to be assembled (ex. microchips). Not so with Biology! We already HAVE highly advanced machines to make use of, and because of its roots in DNA, we can alter and construct anything! On the horizon of biological research, I see godhood. On the horizon of physics, I see foresight made useless due to immense time complexity for calculations. Furthermore, biologists actually use the scientific method instead of just coming up with unfalsifiable theories.

Do you believe that DNA is, for the most part, inherited?
Do you believe that the structure and functions of an organism are determined by their DNA?
Do you believe that DNA is mutable?
Do you believe that some morphologies and processes are more fit for survival than others?

Evolution follows deductively from these FALSIFIABLE. axioms!

You can even do an evolution experiment at home!
1) Get a petri dish with agar.
2) Put bacteria on the petri dish
3) Wait for large bacteria colonies to form
4) Spray them with an antibiotic.
5) Wait a while. If you aren't extremely unlucky, a new colony should have started to form
6) Spray the antibiotic on the new colony.

The same shit happens to me in some courses. I annihilate the homework but when it comes to test time I blank out. However, when "that" test comes around, i.e. the one which the majority of the class scores the lowest on, I get close to a perfect score. Like what the fuck m8?

>yet, the core tenant of biology is evolution which is an unfalsifiable theory.

Oh get fucked this shit was promulgated by Popper who later rescinded it because he was wrong. Also the fallibility of scientific hypothesis and demarcation of science is babies first philosophy of science and thoughts on the matter started with Popper and did not end there.
