You can condition your mind to perform well during testing. Play games, solve puzzles, and get your chemicals figured out. Gut biome is pretty important so kombucha or probiotic helps.

Also avoid spending time with stupid people

Dual n-back isn't effective. Any mentally challenging activity improves cognition temporarily, but you gotta keep stimulating your brain throughout life. This is obvious, I'm just pointing out that n-back specifically isn't a method for raising IQ test score.
