oh yeah i majored in engineering but i've spent a lot of time studying numerical analysis, number theory, modern algebra, and my engineer student friends all used to clown on me for learning "useless" math

My teenage son is failing his math classes. He always wanted to be a physicist but he's clearly too stupid for it so I'll tell him to become an engineer or else I won't pay for his college.
