This happens all the time. The big things don't happen without millions of little things preceding them. An ancient Roman grain ship captain decides to tack slightly north and misses a storm that would otherwise wreck the ship, makes it to port during a famine, and as a result even 5 people avoid starving to death. The genes of those 5 people are now in hundreds of thousands, some of whom have created marvels or done deeds that changed human history.

I feel like my sister's mental stability would've been compromised by my dad, and she'd be unfit to be a wife, and then she'd have kids and make them into crazies by being crazy herself.

So even though I've done nothing with my life, I may have done something very important without really knowing it.
