There is nothing impossible in this world, mate. You can be whoever you want to be and it’s totally true. I mean, no kidding. It’s not a propaganda speech it’s just the way it is. Back in times I was studying at the university but then I quit, changed the place of living (I went to totally different country), got accepted by another university there, quit it and went to another one there again. Then I went back to my homeland because I disliked the way of living there and it was all not just mine. And you know what? I’m going to have the first exam in order to get accepted to the university in my homeland again, lol. I just don’t give up, because life is all about struggling and fighting for what is yours. Don’t give up and reach your goals.

Yeah it was kind of a motivational speech time on /sci/… Hope that’s going to be helpful anyways.

I want brainlets out.

Not everyone appreciates a paycheck over natural curiosity as a lifelong primary pursuit.

Did you think your post was motivational? Your life is extremely sad. I'm glad you're still optimistic. You probably haven't seen the graduate job market yet.

Let me give you some advice; skip university and avoid starving in 4 years. It's already too late for you (and most people) to have a professional career in anything.

basically this. You can do fun and stimulating things and not get shafted with a miniscule paycheck.

Yeah, great advice.

Youll, like virtually everyone else, wont seriously contribute to the field and will just drift aimlessly through life while comforting yourself with the fact that you can regurgitate facts and concepts with near perfection. Then, if youre lucky, some autistic fuck 20 years your junior will blow apart everything youve been researching because true genius does not care of effort or fairness.

Good for them and for everyone else. How does someone discovering something new take away from me? You're under 21 aren't you?

>Thinking that a young person will make the major contribution in modern academia
Literally even Feynman said that everything is set back 10 years from when people used to say 26 was the death of brilliance.

Name the last time someone like the old guard revolutionized physics. Witten et al. (Insert other meme here) are all in their 30s when they made major contributions, and there are a lot in their 40s.

The amount of intuition and math that a student would have to have has grown probably to the degree those days are gone. Not to call the fruit itself low hanging, all the contributions were impressive, more like fruit on a lower branch.
The autism factor is a meme as well, someone may be autistic, but balancing intuition vs rote method derivation has left a lot of that classical obsessiveness being the primary factor behind.

I could be off on what you meant though.
