But that's fucking wrong and unclear.
x*integral(dy) = xy + x*f(x)
or
x*integral(dy) = xy + f(x)
Where f(x) can be a constant or any function of x, not a function of y. It should be written this way or made clear that C in the rightmost formula is a constant with respect to y, but can have x in it.

Identity politics and race is not a pressing topic in "science" and no research is getting defunded because of some blue haird retard yelling "it's all a social construct". Yes, the left is not representative of science in any way, but whataboutism doesn't justify your side you retarded underage /pol/ faggots. Politicians pander to whatever croud they can find, and will cut whatever they have to cut to further their agenda. And yes, while the "left" denies nuclear energy, even though it's basically the best alternstive to ff, at least they accept it fucking exists and doesn't pander to wacos and internet """"academics""""""; not mentioning that nuclear energy isn't exactly supported by all right wing movements. Science doesn't exist to justify you near-sighted world view formed by watching youtubers, memes and retarded people online, so stop trying to put everything into your two little boxes, which isn't even applicable if you are not an ameriturd. wow, this is really stupid. If a consensus says something that's not a fact is a one then, obviously, it is not a fact; it's a misconception.

Misconceptions and facts are different.

I see you also made left/right distinction so let me use my anecdote that I like. Because it's not a direct example og someone either: tampering or ignoring the data, misrepresenting results or blockinh research. I'm agaist whatever quackery unis and goverments do to pander to SJWs, and it can cause problem, but in no way or sense this means it has had as gross of an influenced as all the shit in my link. The point is not that I agree with leftists quackery, but there is no side in politics that actually is on "the side if science", but the right has done far more damage directly. Acknowledging this isn't a justification of whatever other shir you can find, but the altright, skeptic community or whatever shouldn't make retarded feel good statements such as "the left is the real enemy if science", because those autists in their lab just want tl get shit done and don't care about bullshit, but having to put some bullshit in a grant form showing how you have "worked to achieve gender equality" (something that happened in my uni, but everyone just puts bullshit and we never been shut down because of "sexism"), than having your work discredited by some retard in congress. What I know that gets little to no funding is nuclear energy research, and I agree it's mostly by people who pander to hippie shit which is composed mostly of people from the left, but the line is not that clear as crancks are everywhere. I hate that the left also blalantly says "they are the science" whatever, but there is no ignoring of real gross cases of science censorship. I.e., people who don't pander to either of the retarded burger sides aren't just le epic centrist or whatever meme you want to spout, but people who can acknowledge governemt just panders.

It's only a misconception if it's wrong; however, the scientific method, which gives us scientific facts, requires consensus to determine scientific facts. Plenty of things have been scientific facts in the past and later proven wrong.
I'm a centrist as well, so here goes my own anecdote:
When I debate conservatives, they deny factual evidence and claim it's part of some grand scheme, like the atheists libruls tryin' to ruin dis here country wit der climate science, and they try to deny logical conclusions from facts by trying to shift the argument to some other issue that they think I might disagree with them on.
When I debate with liberals, say on Abortion, they usually admit that it's immoral and obviously killing after about 3 minutes of arguing but just claim it's a matter of personal choice.

Liberals aren't anti-science, they're just morally inconsistent. Conservatives actively believe shit that isn't the truth regardless of how much evidence goes against it.

They unironically are.

Being a social construct has nothing to do with "being real or not", it just means that it was created by society and only makes sense within that society.

Societies are biological systems.
You claim that physical systems like galaxies and quasars were somehow "created" by some biological systems. This is false and you are wrong.
For a detailed refutation of your view, consult a textbook of biology, geociences, chemistry, astrophysics etc.

>You claim that physical systems like galaxies and quasars were somehow "created" by some biological systems.
No, I obviously don't.
Again, it is a word game.

The "scientific fact" is something different then the truth that is trying to be expressed, the phrase "1+1=2", has meaning only inside of society, it is irrelevant that this phrase may express some deeper truth, it is still a construct of society.

Not him but he method of doing since was created by humans, that is the claim, not that Quazzars, or whatever are social constructs. Or do you think "science" is a big word meant for any kool facts you read on popsci? Jesus christ, it pains me to accept this, but maybe you retards need a class or two on philosophy. That said, most SJWs abuse stupidely about that non controversial position to apply their retarded queer theories, but the fact that somthing is a "social construct" isn't synonymous with "realtive", we all see the same experimental results, that is the point. What all these retarded movements want is to say, ah so as it was created by humans IT MUST BE that it's filled with evul cis white male or whatever.

The ontology of scientic theories per se, instead of their physical referents, is an interesting problem in philosophy of science/metaphysics. To say that they are social constructs is not just dogmatic, but a very naive position.

This confusion results from of your premises. You assume, without any justification, a non-naturalist epistemology from the start. That is, you probably think that scientific theories and methods are the product of the "creative mind" of humans.

scientific facts are not facts, but things ASSUMED to be facts by the scientific community

"Scientific facts" have been wrong thousands of times. A few decades ago scientists researching the precedessors of artificial neural networks came to the (incorrect) conclusion that it was impossible to do them efficiently. This became accepted as scientific fact (who would know if not the leading minds in the area?) and progress in neural networks was halted because people stopped researching them. We today know that this "scientific fact" was wrong. Most scientific facts are probably true. Assuming all of them are true is retarded.

>it is based on how close to nature predictions are
"Scientific facts" refers to the predictive models which we use to approximate reality. While the models do indeed -correspond to reality- more or less so, which is something we can assess through experiment, the models in themselves are 1) constructed 2) by society.
People will hear the phrase "social construct" once and immediately jump to this ridiculous "oh, so you think science is purely a matter of opinion and reality isn't real" strawman.
The point is to look past a naive picture of "common sense" and bear in mind that the systems we use to discover scientific truth are products of their environment and subject to corrupting influence by that environment. That, yes, there are competing paradigms for "doing science," and we've shifted through several over the years (induction vs falsifiability.) The "science" of the 18th century has radically different intellectual foundations/underpinnings than the science of today. Let alone that "science is science, and it's some transcendental way of knowing prior to and independent from the society it exists within" is contradicted by things like lysenkoism
