Individuals are nothing in objective reality and life does not care about them. It's the genetic stream that matters and we are just instances of it. My kids will be a continuation of me and im a continuation of my parents and ancestors. Im proud of my siblings and parents and they can take pride in my accomplishments. That dilutes as you move further away but still pertains. I take pride in the accomplishments of those who came before me because i am their stream.

As for the claim that such a mindset is only for those with no personal success: im a doctor, im married and i have three kids with money to be able to send them all to private school. However i still hold it in perspective, im not important in reality.

Studies show that on average soy doesn't affect men that much, but they still can't explain the outliers I.E men who have suffered loss in testosterone production due to soy. I wouldn't take the risk, especially since soy isn't at all some essential must have food.
