The LEFT WING today is the primary source of suppression of science and scientific advancement.

y/n?

>> No.9545763

No. The goverment in general isn't really "pro-science" and it's stupid to put your complete trust on a party and justify it as "they follow science", but right wing parties have adopted a weird conservatism that is against some important scientific discoveries. Again this doesn't mean the left isn't excepmt, but what SJWs say isn't considered a pressing issue by real scientists while global warming is.

Hardliners on both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of this. The left has their ativaxxers and the right has their climate change deniers. Both sides also like to assume a moral high ground when discussing certain topics, without any consideration of other arguments, because they are "morally wrong".

Radicalism, scientific illiteracy and lack of critical thinking are problems that go beyond any one pollitical ideology.

only because leftists have more influence in politics at the moment.

practically everyone in politics only pushes the pro-science agenda when it suits them, regardless of political leaning

>> No.9545840

Politics has no business with science.
