Hey /sci/

I have to do this Algebra 4 class online and there's very little study material. I just can't learn without a step by step explanation.

Are there any good websites that would explain Algebra 4 equations step by step? Not really looking for paragraphs to read, more of a visual tutorial.

What's Algebra 4? non-amerifag here.

>> No.952041

mathway.com is good, but you have to pay to see the step by step shit... =\

>Implying America has a course called "Algebra 4"
rofl.

American here, yes we do. It's a high school course.

I'll list some lessons from the course:

Graphing Equation Systems
Graphing Systems
Solving Inequalities
Linear Programming
Quadratic Equations
Quadratic Relations
Ellipses
Graphing Parabola

....

I really need help with this. Is there a tutorial site?

Whatever, can you help me with this algebra man? I am retarded when it comes to math I need a tutorial

What the hell? When I took math when I was twelve, it was called "Sequential 1/2/3". Sequential 1 included Algebra and the shit you mentioned.
"Algebra 4?" Jesus, that was just 2nd semester. There's 4 of 'em now?

What the fuck am I reading? That shit is in pre-algebra.

I'm an America, and the stuff you listed were topics I learned in my Algebra class. I never had Algebra 4... I just had Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus in high school.

I wouldn't have any idea how they could spread the elementary algebra topics across 4 classes...

It's called Algebra 4 here, I don't know why

Do you know of any tutorial sites or not?

when I was young I used the "for dummies" books to try to gain a foothold on the basics of stuff, I liked them but many people I knew don't so you might want to go to a Barnes and nobles or half or some other bookstore and read over to see if it explains it well to you.

what I'm really concerned though is your taking 1/4th of a course I took when I was a kid and struggling with it, perhaps you should also consider contacting some of the other students in your course and form some fort of study group.

Then I'm confused. It seems like compared to Canada, some areas Americans are much more advanced in, and some they're way behind. Like this, you described shit I learned in grade 10/11. Yet the stuff you learn in (pre)/calculus I have no idea what you mean.

Seriously, free step by step youtube videos covering all the subjects you just mentioned. Algebra 1 and 2 are on the left side, or you could just ctrl+f it.

well its not all nationalized, everything it divided into school districts that do their own thing.
sometimes its embarrassing though,
I heard a while ago a schoolboard in Houston decided to scrap Thomas Jefferson from the history books.

That's not the point. The point is how the fuck do you split something that can be taught in four MONTHS up into four SEMESTERS?

OP, you can probably just post any problems you don't understand here, and we'll explain them to you. Right now, that's my best solution.

i think it's just because his school is retarded
i went to one that was equally terrible for 7th and 8th grade

homework threads are banned,
this may not be one but its pretty damn borderline,
just be grateful people are actually responding and not reporting your thread.

They need to have math taught every year, and nobody knows how to teach calculus maybe

Just filler stuff

It's not borderline, you obese cunt. Not OP, but Christ. Even if he's fucking retarded, he's trying to better himself and is asking the best means to go about achieving such an end.
This is not a homework thread. This is a self-improvement thread. Grow up.

With your fingers... 1... 2... 3... and at least... come on!... 4! yes! that's it!

Next step: Algebra 5...

But he's asking for sites with theory explanations, not solved problems/excercises.

If anything I applaud OP for even trying.

Free bump here, sorry I don't have any links, I just went to the library in my HS days.
