1. IQ is the average knowledge and imagination ablitities, like knowing the US-President, solving puzzles, calculate simple things without calculator.
2. IQ is just a figure for representing how your performance was on that one special test, so it'st not showing individual talents, e.g. I have a colleague with a higher IQ than me but he can't even ride a bike and he knows shit about politics.
3. Because of 1. and 2. you have to excersice the tasks asked int the IQ-test, there are books and online resources for that. It resembles studying for an history exam, you learn for the asked qustions and forget it afterwards
