If you use this awful logic, you could also ban the word, "fire". It's a psychological tactic to make people think that the conclusion that there is a fire is strong than it is. Why have the word fire when you could see if there's a fire yourself?

In the end, this logic means that any adjective, or word describing something can be banned. Basically any word in the English dictionary can be used to mislead anyone, but that doesn't mean that it should be banned.

Jesus we truly are lost. You youngsters have no idea. Try 'evidence *informed* medicine'. That's where the doc, using their skill, experience, and treating their patient like an individual, makes decisions based on that patient's best interests, not the results of some research which says all patients with condition x should be treated with treatment y. Because, in case you hadn't realised, or missed your statistics class, or maybe you haven't even got that far through college yet, treatment y never ever works for all patients. Research should be there to support clinical decision making, not replace it.

If you're writing factual paperwork there is no need to use the phrases "evidence-based" or "science-based". If something is factually sound, you just say what it is. The only reason to use those phrases if you are claiming something that isn't actually agreed upon by observers of the same thing.

Why say "science-based [thing]" when you could just say "[thing]"? The only reason to use such a lazy excuse for a persuasive adjective is if you have someone to persuade. Meaning your report has been infested with opinion as opposed to fact
