studying, introducing, and interpreting a set of arbitrary rules humans have written to mandate how parties should behave and interact with eachother. It is entirely a human (social) construct with no physical (real) basis. There is nothing objective about it so for a scientist it's seen a frivolous pursuit not worthy of one's time.

Science and math is gauded as being the most intellectually-involved of all academic fields because of the purely rational nature of its study; everything is based on experimental observation, empirical evidence, and mathematical proof. It's problem solving to the highest order, employing the most demanding of cognitive abilities such as pattern recognition, relationship analysis, computation, and abstract memory (being able to carry out a problem with a long series of steps, sub-steps, etc. without getting lost or losing logical basis, even as it relates to other problems).

Medicine is the last profession you should be interested in if you're looking to make money. Unless you think a million dollars a year is real money, in which case go for it, live the dream.

Nigger you described pre med not medicine

Medicine is a whole different lot of bullshit and very low number of people actally make it. Even then a shit ton of them just end up being general practitioners

It takes serious brains to memorize body parts, cell structures of each body parts, all the nerves, muscles, bones and then the diseases of the said nerves, muscles and bones.

You'd know if brainlets like you actually entered a med school and lasted for more than a semester

because it matters for some of us. Not everyone is a brainlet and can only think about simple things.

If your iq is high enough then ask yourself how and why it could matter.

no it's mostly education, which places way too much emphasis on language and not nearly enough on calculation or "quantitative reasoning"

Ya but the quants usually get degrees in math or stats, not finance. Some study financial engineering but I think Columbia is one of the only schools that has that, ship the graduates directly to wall street
