What should they teach in k-12 education? Should it even be that long? There are times I think that schools are more for the sake of babysitting than learning anything worthy.

But most schools are publicly funded

Frankly I think a 50% should be an A cuz if you remember half of what you were taught in school its a fucking miracle.

Seriously, I don't know what the point of education is beyond basic math and reading. Is getting put through the wringer trying to memorize pointless shit supposed to do something subconsciously?

It does a good job of breaking you into thinking all you're good for is a shitty wageslave job

They should cultivate interest instead of systematically destroying creativity, passion, and the will to live.

Ok.

How do you teach that without kids wanting to kill themselves and never wanting to touch STEM again?

One way to make it easier would be to explain why certain equations, ideas, and methods work, instead of having kids memorize them for a test and completely forget about them later

Because everyone wants their kids to be educated and go to school for 12/16 years but they don't want them to learn worthless stuff like who was the president of Nazi Germany because it doesn't help them flip burgers.

I'm only having kids if I become rich enough for them to be taught exclusively by private instructors.
