I have been experiencing sensation within a region I locate as behind my eyes, above my nose between my ears or more generally where my brain is enclosed.

I know our brains do not have the nervous system to feel its own matter but what about the surrounding structures like the dura-matter, meninges sinus cavity walls?

If your brain were ungoing volumetric reduction from cell death does the cranial cavity not fill in with fluid? Would the cause any movement to your brain which could be perceived by contact with other anatomical structures which do possess sensory nerves that produce sensations?

If someone fears their brain is shrinking from grey/white matter destruction due to anything ; age, AGE's, excito-toxicity, TBI's, hypoxia or what have you is there any way they could perceive this to any degree? If not what sorts of phenomena can explain such a mis-attribution?

A few days ago I had a headache and I thought I could feel my brain pushing against my meninges but I was fine and there's nothing wrong with me.

Just chill out, you're probably fine.

Not a brain guy, but there is a few nerves along your eyebrows that reach deep inside your brain.

Alternatively, it could be your 3rd eye opening.
:^)
Seriously tho, you're a wizard now.

I will point out I am 54.. and I came into the world with a very large cranial capacity and always felt grateful for that seeing as life can take so much over time but I am beginning to be concerned I am going into the red.

Your brain would move much more from your regular head movements. The only way to perceive any brain damage is through headaches, altered state of consciousness, altered behaviour, memory etc.
Stop stressing, you will be certain when something is actually wrong.

in my case I think it'd require an MRI because I can't confirm any of those criteria other than an absence of headaches with any confidence as I have experienced some extreme states of consciousness in my life which I feel color my sense of my self so that my perceptions by that virtue take in to consideration those extremes.

in 1989 I did have a full EEG done. The report said normal, waking EEG. No evidence of organic brain disorder or disease.. normal photic driving response , scattering of theta.. and a few other remarks I forget and aside from trying scads of various nutrient supplements over the years some of which could have been tainted or have adverse effects not understood I've had no serious insults

This. Although your concerns may be legitimate if you have been frogposting recently. If that's the case, you will suffer a substantial drop in mental capacity and soon will find yourself gravitating towards incessant shitposting. There is no cure.

Vivid memories are normal, everyone has them.
You sound fine. Vitamin supplements would have no adverse effects unless you seriously ODed on them (which would require intent or extreme retardation to achieve).
