There are plenty of theories about a multiverse, but there is no proof whatsoever and they have no predictive power right now. They're basically worthless.

If other worlds exist, then being able to travel to them would depend on which multiverse theory is correct. We just don't know.

At this point, though, believing that the multiverse is real is about as scientific as a religion

Although I am one of the people who believe it exists, it is almost impossible to prove.

Where does it start? What would cause a split? Say I come to a turn and I can go left or right. Then left or right again, so on and so forth. But is that where it starts?

In theory every single action anything takes, no matter what it is, would result in another reality being created. If the theory was true, there would literally be an infinite number of realities.

Impossible? No. But to prove it is not possible with the technology today.

No. In the only theory about the Multiverse that makes sense (The pocket universe one) the distances are so great that it would be impossible to reach those universes. Many-Worlds is bullshit. If it were real, then that wouldn't mean that "oh there's a universe where Hitler was born a girl or where I'm a rich person) since everything on a macroscale happens in a deterministic universe. You have no choices in life, it's just one straight line you can't see.
