is it possible to have better than 20/20 vision with contacts?

for example if my prescription is -3.00 (assuming this gives me 20/20), will bumping the prescription to -3.25 give me better vision?

Or will bumping the prescription give me better far vision but it will make my closer vision blurry?

Take a look at how contact lenses work and it will answer your question.

or glasses or lasik, yes. But your eyes are lazy fuckers and will adjust to not needing to focus as hard so you'll have to keep upping the prescription until you can't see a damn thing.

Bumping the prescription will move the focal point to a space in front of your retina, leading to disorientation. The goal of corrective lenses is actually to get you to 20/15 vision, which is the ability to focus things from 20 meters away that a healthily-sighted person would have to stand 15 meters away from to perceive. This is achieved by getting the focal point of your eyes' lenses as close to the retina as possible.

This is why looking into the sun will literally fry your eyes; they work like magnifying glasses whose intended focus is the retina.
