Consider this anecdote stranger. My uncle drives a milk truck for a living, and he regulary has to take night shifts, overtime etc. From his personal opinion, the motion associated with eating nuts helps him stay awake during those long shifts, as his body eventually adapted to coffee and coffein pills.
