That's not a Marxist thing, most of the general public mistakenly believes that, probably because he was a famous scientist who wrote a letter asking that the President authorize research into atomic bombs.

most normies are oblivious to science, marxists may be even more since they're mostly into humanities.

Knowing Einstein had nothing to do with the Manhattan Project is more of a history thing than a science thing.

>Marxists r stupid
>Einstein's theories weren't used in the making of the atomic bomb

Special relativity was the foundation for the atomic bomb. Without his formula for mass-energy equivalence, the atomic bomb would not have existed. Nobody even took the sci-fi concept seriously until both Einstein wrote to Roosevelt requesting it's creation, and the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

He didn't develop it himself, but he was a major influence.

Now stick to /pol/, where you belong.

>As the physicist and Manhattan Project participant Robert Serber put it: "Somehow the popular notion took hold long ago that Einstein's theory of relativity, in particular his famous equation E = mc2, plays some essential role in the theory of fission. Albert Einstein had a part in alerting the United States government to the possibility of building an atomic bomb, but his theory of relativity is not required in discussing fission. The theory of fission is what physicists call a non-relativistic theory, meaning that relativistic effects are too small to affect the dynamics of the fission process significantly."

Why are you just making up bullshit? The Einstein–Szilárd letter was sent to FDR in August of 1939. Nuclear fission was discovered in Germany in December 1938 and the Nazis had a nuclear weapons project started in April of 1939. Both the Nazi nuclear weapons project and the Einstein letter came about because of the discovery of nuclear fission in Germany.

I consider myself a Marxist and have read Das Kapital.

Anyway, Einstein was a socialist, no? He even penned the famous work "Why Socialism?" There's dumb Marxists, and smart Marxists.

That's a retarded comic because them being nazis had nothing to do with them being better engineers. They just were better engineers, for various reasons. For one it is clear that they had already built a rocket, so they already know all the reasons why a rocket would explode. The people learning from them did not have that experience and the best they could do was follow instructions which they didn't truly understand.

That text was long before Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea and USSR collapse.

If you are a Marxist in 2017 i have bad news for you.
