I have an extremely high iq and have a strong moral integrity. My morals are just off kilter. Also i have a hard time feeling emotions and never emotionally connect to other humans. i can mirror the feelings of others but have none of my own. it wasn't always that way. What i do connect to melts away fast. i consider pic related and myself to have the same result from similar trauma. Luckily for me i snapped at a much younger age and didnt have the means to do what he did, so i had time to adjust to the near constant grief with intricate and fantasy. im cold and pragmatic now, a drone on autopilot while my mind goes to brighter horizons. i feel perfectly sane but they say i have a "personality disorder"

Depends on what you define as a "psychopath," of course.
What IS true about people with high IQs is that they're able to more easily override their own evolutionary psychology. Homosexuality, atheism, an inability to communicate with females, subscription to ideologies that downright subvert the country that they live in (Communism, Anarchism, neofash). These are all things that are more prevalent in people with high IQs but are far from the norm for the species as a whole.

Op's post is colored by the fact that you only really remember serial killers who were particularly impressive in their own right. Bundy, Dahmer, JWG, these are not small kill counts by serial killer standards. Intelligence and the caution are needed to get away with so many before they figure you out, especially if you're plucking them out of your own town.

There was a reason Asperger's was called "autistic psychopathy", which is now considered incorrect and archaic.
That is, some of the symptoms are similar, however HFA and AS do have emotions that are more than shallow and self-serving.

Psychopatic is "psychopatic" and not conjoined with intelegence. Neurologic evidence shows that connections within psychopatic brains allow them to process IQ test information at a higher level than their functional IQ would suggest. Your example is a good one. I told the people at the mental institution that I was at that I am a psychopath but they said I wasn't one.
Did I fool them or am I correct? I like to play mind games with people but I don't know if I really am a psychopath. I never really wanted to hurt anyone physically but if I know someone for some time I can play the game.
I have never been diagnosed with a personality disorder but they gave me these diagnosis:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Schizoaffective Disorder (or Bipolar type 1 mixed with psychotic features because they are pretty cautious about giving me a diagnosis with "schizo" in the title)
Disruptive Mood Disregulative Disorder (some bullshit that they don't even know why they diagnosed me we, or they won't tell because of hydrochondria)
Intermittent Explosive Disorder (because I uses to physically attack myself instantly when I was upset by banging my head or clawing at my weak points, now I will attack myself mentally by thinking of traumatic but false events to coerce myself to killing myself)
Anxiety

So am I really a psychopath or just another Tumblr special snowflake? I need some ePsychology™ to prove if I'm imagining a reality where I actually think the way I do, because I'm not sure.

What would be the cure for that then? I personally have been told the opposite, that I can stay calm very well even in stressful situations. People think I am unstable at times and unpredictable though.

I wanted to control my behavior indirectly but is that physically possible? I never hurt anyone or anyone's property. I just lock myself in a room for 6 hours on average with the lights turned off and think unhappy and cruel thoughts to crush my own self-esteem even more. I feel worthless as it is but I will prove myself why I am worthless and tell myself there is no solution to eternal pain and judgement. That may be a weird coping skill but nothing else has worked so far. I could easily aim a bullet at my brain and pull the trigger but it would make me uncomfortable. Sometimes I feel no pain and think that I will be happy for years to come. Maybe finishing college, getting a job, finding a girl, marrying her, having children, educating them, etc.
I have been sheltered my whole life, only because my Mother has psychosis and kept me away from meeting anyone. I don't mean to blame her but I was an innocent child at the time.

Well, I want to do it a way I understand. Because I lack the ability to think simply about how to handle stress without thinking of purposely traumatic thoughts and how to overt them.
I couldn't even finish school because I felt like people were trying to read my mind or were judging me the entire time. Call me a pussy but this is the result when you have no defense in your own thought process to counter intrusive thoughts.

That all has nothing to do with being a psychopath. Many people who are lawyers, business owners, or politicians are like that. A serial killer has impulse control and an obsession. A dictator wants control over every aspect of life of a large group of people. What you are implying isn't considered a mental issue like wanting to kill people. People with autism can share the same sentiment but lack personalities to begin with that don't include interests or personal obsessions. Schizophrenics feel like their personality attacks them. People who are victims of trauma can cope by detaching themselves to another reality.
What you described is something anyone you meet can be like and you wouldn't know for sure.

Yeah... and that's absolutely true. Psychopathy would not be detectable outside of the very discrete and often insular circles that the psychopath builds in order to maintain their necessary persona for each circle. They may vary to many degrees in severity. There are often cases of men who live as heads of households for two completely independent families. That one's pretty extreme. When you look at at the DSM, psychopathy isn't actually about violence or any of the other sometimes-necessary shit that they sex up for the movies, it's about the election of self as god. It's a pseudo-solipsistic worldview wherein people are, no matter how close or "trusted" they may be, ultimately tools and objects to be manipulated in order to achieve whatever purpose you want. That purpose may vary at any time and to whatever whims may be had, but it's not necessarily violent or exciting. It's the kind of shit people expect in business, for one. It's essentially the fueling ethos of the entire dog-eat-dog capitalist Malthusian framework that turns us into wage-slaves, we who don't really exist to The Machine... okay, that last part was pure editorializing, I admit - but I'm just sayin'...

I guess high IQ makes sensitive and vulnerable, set in a world which does not understand or value you and an own belive system you can break out of the conditioning society made for you.

They have not been psychopaths in my opinion, just people who made themselves their own believe system and were brave and ruthless enough to live by it.

So, high iq is often paired with high sensitivity, which can make you very vulnerable and lead to dysfunctional coping mechanisms, or make you more affected by a trauma which makes you antisocial, but it can also lead to a high responsibility and empathic behavior.

It´s a lot of potential, when corrupted it´s horrible when not its great

Well, then you should really talk to your shrink about this, not random assholes on the internet. Regardless, you're obviously suffering from a lot of anxiety, which really isn't a trait found in psychopaths (or people with antisocial disorders, as it's called now).

Drugs, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness meditation, as well as breathing exercises to strengthen your parasympathetic nervous system. Talk to your shrink about it and get on that shit.
