Why do irrational numbers just go on forever and not repeat?

Why isn't there an easy way to find the nth prime?

Because any string of digits is a number, even an infinite one that never repeats.
Because primes are weird.

Because irrational numbers exist only when three-dimensional mathematics is used to identify a fourth-dimensional mathematical result.

if the number [math] x=n+0.a_1a_2\cdots a_k \overline{b_1b_2\cdots b_l} [/math] repeats then you have

[math] x = n + \sum_{i=1}^k a_i10^{-i} + \sum_{j=1}^l b_j\sum_{t\geq 0} 10^{-(j+tl)} = n + \sum_{i=1}^k a_i10^{-i} + \sum_{j=1}^l b_j10^{-j}\sum_{t\geq 0} 10^{-tl} = n + \sum_{i=1}^k a_i10^{-i} + \sum_{j=1}^l b_j10^{-j}\frac{1}{1-10^{-l}} [/math] which is rational

i guess there should be an extra 10^-k in the second sum but it's still rational

because math is a spook and whatever you think a "number" is is clearly wrong as proven over and over again by the real world

that's why numerical analysis is the only true maths
