Part one got part two and the satellite out of the worst parts of the atmosphere and then detached from the rest and landed.
The second part and the satellite are still in space.

80% of the expense of the lower stage, on a vehicle with an expensive upper stage, and the recovered engines will still need to be refurbished and integrated into a new first stage. The Falcon 9 flyback reuse, on the other hand, is the total recovery of a complete first stage, with a cheap upper stage.
