You the unit of battery charge, the Ah (ampere * hour)? Isnt it more logical to be ampere per hour (A/h)?

Does multiplication of units tells us something about physical properties of given phenomena or is it just a result of mathematical operations?

Ah gives you the total energy contained in the battery (in this case normalised by the voltage).

A/h doesn't make sense as a measurement because the resistance of the object will affect the current, so the A/h reading will change depending on your circuit.

Ah is universal, A/h is specific.

Joules = watts per seconds.
Therefore amps * volts * 3600 = joules.
Its a measure of energy not a rate.
