Study and note-taking thread.
How do you like taking your notes?
What is working for you when you're studying?

I record all my lectures then write everything while studying, then rote that.
Pretty effective although I forget like 50% of it a week after the exam. I guess that's why we have finals

Just listen when the teacher is teaching and pay attention to what you're reading. Write down the important things (theorems, etc.) and keep a note of what you need to revise. And review everything you've learned at least thrice daily.. There's no need to spend that much time writing shit down

>>8463412
also lightly revise material before even going to class to prime your brain and never get stumped

For reference purpose and direct outline it's sure as hell helpful wirting down things.
No need to rewrite things 3-5 time but having a clean set of notes is always a good thing
pleb

You only need to take notes to solidify your acquisition of knowledge. Studying is a fancy way of saying "I wasn't paying attention and didn't ask enough questions and now I need to freshen up on the knowledge I pretended to acquire in class."

I haven't studied for anything other than language courses.

I haven't studied religiously since middle school. My grades steadily increased because I started taking more notes and paying more attention.

Study for language courses. They are a different story.

I take notes on pen and paper, its fast and time saving.
usually short reminders of something i want to go over multiple times or something i should focus on more.
Remember,if you don't have contacts for your profession no effort is sufficient to land a job.
Take care.

I write my notes after class. That way I can assess how much of the lecture I remember.
