>.999.... = 1
>999.... = infinity

all these years maths brainlets have been trying to figure out infinity and it just came to me like just like that

infinity is a lot more interesting than that

Fuck infinity. The universe is a finite state machine and therefore only capable of supporting a certain precision, or length, to a given number. This can't be bypassed temporally either, as you likely don't have infinite time, and have to store data involved in the system generating the value, in some cases an iteration counter, etc.

Face it. The universe does not care for infinity and does not support it. Get over it. Time to move on.

Face it.
You're a brainlet.

You're a finite being trapped in a finite universe that can only do finite things in its finite time.

Face it.

Nothing to face. You're being an idiot. Doesn't make infinity useless.

True infinity cannot be used.

It's not useless, it's literally unusable. The universe isn't capable of it.

If you refuse to work with infinity,

You're going to be very limited.

very "limited" i see what you did there
lim -> inf

Only if you admit I can only do it in finite ways.

What is causality for 100?

Correction, 999... = 100^200

100^201 :^)

9999.... + 1 :^)

clearly 999.... is a finite number
