Anyone here working on something cool and care to share?

Ah yes, I am working on a high-throughput automated method of m&m color separation based on the blue-green-yellow multi phase Reidlich-Kwong-Hershey method. Currently we have been able to achieve 90% brown purity on stage 1 followed by 80, 70, 90, 90, 80, for red, orange, green, blue, and yellow respectively.

Optimizing the trays with Goodyear-payday efficiency and smoothing Reese's approach and Cadbury activity based reactivity should provide 99% separation of each component at each stage of separation.

Let's just get this out of the way now:
>Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the “loser,” and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round. I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world. Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment. When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3×5 card reading, “Please use this M&M for breeding purposes.” This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this “grant money.” I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion. There can be only one.

Yes, I am working on investigating different types of microstructures on m&m coating to figure out which type will afford each m&m the greatest probability of surviving combat.

My goal is to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species.

This is why /sci/ is the best board. The average post is long enough that I can use the encoded form to almost guarantee the cross-communication integrity of the software I've developed to eliminate horrid brown M&Ms from my electronic supply. Of course, this post jeopardises it all.

I am creating a robot with human-like mannerisms, including getting angry when he thinks he's eating an M&M but it turns out to be a Reese's Pieces.

Actually, I have been working on a virus that I will embed in a regular download and make that download work its way to the M&M's headquarters. There, I can steal the secret recipe and produce my own line of chocolate sweets.

tfw i'm not the only one that does these

The P Versus NP Problem. It's quite demanding. I've been working on it for a little over a week now. I don't plan on writing anything down until I see the complete proof without error in my head. It's quite sharpening as well, with many things like social interaction and regular meals besides coffee losing value and becoming unimportant.

Why those candies make my mouth itch, and what are the implications of a certain ring being semilocal.

it is a well known fact that there are two types of mathematicians in the world; those who do calculus, and those who experience strong homosexual attraction.

I'm too dumb for calculus, so I practice cohomosexuality. But what would [math]\mathfrak{m}[/math]orita say if the ring of endomorphisms was semilocal for an abelian category's projective generator?

cohomosexual? what kind of perversion is that?

I mean, you either desire the little girls you post or you self insert as them, so it's either paedophillia or homosexuality-transsexuality. clearly a perversion regardless.

Basically in homosexual act there is an arrow from a practicioner into another. In cohomosexuality this arrow is reversed. And no, I don't have desires for little girls. I just like her as a character!

so you self insert as little girls then, the fact that you admit to identifying with the character is enough to convince the rational observer that you are, in fact, a homosexual, and the proof is complete
