I believe this happened to me.

I remember being 16 before I suffered from depression and went on all kinds of psy drugs, I used to get lost in my mind all day thinking, trying to figure stuff out and having this uncanny ability to visualize moving scenes in my mind, and create really cool sounding music in my mind.

But now....I feel like I am limited, tired and unable to escape the fog inside my mind..it's fucking horrible. Sometimes it is so bad, I get overwhelmed just by reading a book...the words themselves start to lose their meaning and I get so frustrated.


The only way I've found for me to go back to feeling like when I was 16, is taking 20mg of Dexamphetamine. It's so amazing....but I decided long ago to stop taking shit.

I'm not sure what caused it, either anorexia or my alcoholism/glue sniffing. I don't do any of that now but still feeling the effects of dumb decisions I made when I was 15.
I went from an average of 145 IQ to 115 IQ, I find spelling harder and mix my numbers up, my memory is also a lot worse. I also get that brain fog feeling you're talking about. I don't feel stupider or anything and when I concentrate I can still provide good work, just depressing when I misspell words I used to have no problem spelling or when I have to work 10 times harder to remember stuff I wouldn't have had a problem remembering.
