How will this system impact New England if it comes towards it?
Some GEFS tracks seem to lead up here.

Most of the model guidance places the core of the storm somewhat further offshore. NE could get a soaking sometime midweek though.

I left the south Jersey shore early in case it gets fucked hard by Hermine. Was staying right near the beach too. The shore line was already cut in half by the rising sea. Very windy and rough water.

Seriously, don't fuck around and gamble with your life and the lives of rescue workers. Stay off of the beaches, out of the ocean, and off the roads. If you have plans to leave the shore on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday then leave NOW. You may not get a second chance and you don't want to be stuck in a car on flooded roads. Remember, just because there isn't rain doesn't mean you aren't in danger. Winds turn common debris into fucking bullets, and rising seas will flood inland & cut off bridges / roads.

tl;dr If you can't get out of a danger zone tonight, make plans to hunker down in a safe location until at least Wednesday or Thursday.

Heh, Jersey resident here. Inland the weather is projected to be mostly pleasant over this weekend. The state parks have plenty of lovely lakes and whatnot, though it might be just too darn cool to make it worthwhile.
