I stopped caring about math when I was introduced to the concept of higher category theory. What a crock of shit. If your theory can only be given a satisfactory formulation by inventing morphisms that can't exist, like some kind of math deity, then you are fucking wrong and the math is flawed.

John Baez is an awesome person and is responsible for a lot of progress in higher category theory (together with people like Leinster, Shulman, Trimble, Corfield, and Schreiber). He left the community because of how toxic it has become, and instead works on environmentalism mostly. He's too cool for /sci/.
